Build Information:
I am unable to open Wireshark to get the version information. Additionally
when I try and execute the command wireshark -v I get the same error as
outlined below.
I have downloaded and attempted to install the following versions.
v 0-99-8 (downloaded on Friday 7th March 2008 from main Wireshark site)
v 0-99-9_24602
If it helps, I can install the GTK2 selection of the software and capture that
detailed information if it's of any help.

Everytime I start up Wireshark with the GTK1 user interface I get an error
saying wireshark.exe - Application Error. The application failed to
initialize properly, click OK to terminate the application.
See my post in Wireshark Users Mailing List, it is happening to other users
(with more experience than me in this area who have tried to debug the code
without any success) as well.
