Seems to me:
Maybe the right answer as to how to notify dumpcap to stop a capture is to do
what is done for Windows:
Create a pipe from the parent to the child which is used to send a message when
a capture is to be stopped.
Does this sound OK ?
If so, I'll write and test some code to do so.
Or: maybe it's really too late to make a significant change like this for this
release and we should (for now) just make the use of libcap to be default no
with appropriate notes as to what is required to be able to use it.
Thoughts ?
